Tzatziki is a Greek Yogurt and Cucumber sauce. It is usually used on things like Gyros and Kebabs. Very simple to make, it can be eaten alone, with chips or pita, or added to any type of sandwich or wrap.

Cilantro Bean Dip

I remember making veggie burritos and looking at the plain black beans being heated up when I came up with this concoction.  There was a bunch left over so I put it out as a dip and it lasted about 2 minutes with my guests who devoured it and asked for the recipe. Here it is…

Fresh Salsa

I want to say my stepmother was the first to show me how to make this salsa.  Be warned, this does not last long when put around hungry people with chips. I use this salsa all the time and as a compliment to many other dishes. It is very simple to prepare.

Chunky Avocado Dip

There was a time when I worked in a restaurant where we made an avocado spread that went on sandwiches. I got used to making it every single day for months. This is a variation that I made one day to put on my veggie quesadillas. It was a hit with everyone who ate it and has been getting requested from me for years.
